Exibition | At This Moment: Potraits of South Carolina Artists by Jerry Siegel
Originally conceived as a mash-up of the Greenville County Museum of Art's 1970 exhibition and publication project titled Contemporary Artists of South Carolina and photographer Jerry Siegel's 2012 book Facing South: Portraits of Southern Artists (a co-publication of the University of Alabama Press and the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art at Auburn University), At This Moment is a testament to the wealth of talent and genius that has been fostered, cultivated, and inspired by South Carolina for more than 75 years.

Off the Wall: Postmodern Art at Renolda
During the 1960s when postmodernism was first used to describe contemporary art, it was generally understood that it meant that a work of art was not only chronologically "after" modernism, it was also "against" it, rejecting the dominant art movement of the twentieth century's ideology.
Postmodernism has since become an accepted descriptive term for culture during the final decades of the twentieth century... what it means for art (architecture, literature, dance, music, film, fashion) to be "postmmodern".
